A reference map is indispensable to know your whereabouts when navigation through your 3D realm.  Most of the time, it’s no more than an orthophoto, or a street map.  That’s fine.  But how nice would it be if you have that same base map within your 3D view, so you got your reference right there where you need it : in 3D.

So here’s a simple flag you can switch on : “Show Base Maps in 3D’.  It’s that easy.
Of course, you need to have a base map first, and we’ve provided some already at your disposal.  Once selected, you can even switch between base maps, 3D in sync with your 2D reference view.  Nice and easy. And functional.  That’s how we like it.
